Thank You Vern Yip

Recently I was invited to participate in a Q&A with Vern Yip, he is most known for his TLC show Trading Spaces and his various HGTV shows including HGTV Design Star, Deserving Design, HGTV Urban Oasis, and Live in Vern’s House, and his columns in both HGTV Magazine and The Washington Post.

When I went to my mail box last week I was nicely surprised to open a beautiful thank you gift from Vern, a stunning but masculine candle.  The candle fit in perfect in our remodeled guest bathroom and has provided a warm musky scent.

Vern’s new fabric line with Fabricut, one of our supplier’s, was inspired by his world travels and background in architecture.   Fabricut collaborated with Vern to create an eclectic and inviting collection of fabrics and trimmings. Vern’s global travel, paired with his precise and clean lines, has set him apart as a leading trendsetter.  I’ve always enjoyed Vern’s sense of style and  uncluttered design, even going all the way back to his days on Trading Spaces (am I dating myself with that reference).
