We’ve returned from a very successful business trip to Las Vegas for the twice a year furniture and accessory market. Tomorrow we will be back in the studio and can’t wait to share with our clients the many new treasures we found.
Soon we will share a couple of the photos we shot at market, along with the new trends that were definitely shouting out at us!
Now to bring you a few rooms from the Coastal Living House in Coronado and it’s very unusual basement. Unusual in the fact that you just don’t see this in Southern California, but now we are beginning to see it in the ocean front areas because of the price land.
This was a bright room with a window to the left of these beds (above). You could comfortably sleep four munchkins or four fun loving adults in these bunks.
What I loved most about this cozy bathroom (above) was how bright it was, and the happy red cabinet hardware. Was not real sure about the how the towels were decorated.
The woven wood shades (above) gave you that beach feeling.
Does anyone know of a good, and EASY, way to make a bunk bed or day bed?
I’m so fortunate to have these wonderful designers among my group of friends. We try to meet once a month to share ideas, meet with suppliers, and just to support one another.
The basement living area, I was liking the flag wall. It was bright and happy as you made your way down the stairs.
Was not loving the color of the painted stairs. I would have felt better if they had left them the color of the other stairs.
Can you tell? That was an area rug that used to cover that ottoman.
What do you think of the house so far? Could you live in this California beach house?
