Silk Plants Can Be Pretty

I think most of my clients know that silk plants have never been on my top ten.  So many of them just look so fake.  Not these new babbies!  While I was at the Las Vegas Market last week I had heard about this new company that made me realize, silk plants can be pretty and have a place in upper end design.

Take a look at these beauties, all silk and they come in these beautiful containers too.  They would fit right in many of our San Diego beach homes, and also feel comfortable in area where we also display those ever popular succulent plants.

Silk Plants

I could see a row of these weeping willow sort of looking plants going down the middle of a long farm table.

I really love these white flowers with a little bit of branch in them.  I’ll be ordering several of these for the studio.  We’ll be using them in the new “Styling Option” in our package pricing.  These fresh looking flowers could be used in so many ways; a powder room, a master bedroom, on an office desk, etc.

Silk Floral Arrangement

I really had to stop and touch this pretty silk arrangement to make sure it wasn’t a live plant.  The greenery was done so well, and the white tone of the flowers looked SO real.

Silk Plant Containers

Look at these Bonsai looking trees, and their very textured containers.  These will definitely be finding their way into two homes I’m working on, and I’m sure a couple more throughout the year.  These containers I love just as much as the plants.

Large Pendant Lights

Who knew . . . I went in to look for at silk plants and came out with lighting fixtures.

I’ll be proposing these to a client next week, they are perfect!   When you closely look at these industrial pendants you will see that they are actually three different fixtures put together to make one.  Industrial perfection.

NOTE:  As I share my Las Vegas Market treasures with you over this next week please forgive the quality of the photos.  This market I decided to just take my cell phone for pictures.  When you are walking 8 – 10 miles a day at these shows you have to cut down on what you carry.
